Clayton Rogers

Clayton Rogers was raised in the suburbs of Memphis, Tennessee.  After majoring in architecture at Princeton University, he returned to Midtown and learned the profession and practice of architecture from various firms and architects.  He eventually got his Masters at UT Knoxville before moving to the Cumberland Plateau, where he helped raised two brilliant children and had his own architectural practice. Since starting at JCCDS, Clayton has let his obsessiveness and perfectionism run free.  He primarily focuses on the production of construction drawings, working through all facets and details of the house.  He is also in charge of updating and systematizing the office’s computer drafting standards, rattling on - as all older architects do - about Line Weight. At home Clayton enjoys cooking, playing on his refurbished pool table, and making things in his woodshop - some useful, some not so much.  He has recently become devoted to swimming in a local lake.  He considers sitting on the porch a valid outdoor activity.
